My name is Yona Arzi. I was born in Israel, I reside in Tel Aviv, I’m a mother of four and grandmother to six.

 

I am a digital media artist. I focus on abstract, landscapes, and graphic works. After a long period of working with oil, watercolors, and acrylics, I discovered digital media and it was love at first sight.

 

Digital media creates a boundless space of artistic possibility, and artwork turns into an adventurous and riveting journey. Every time I go down the “artist’s path” it is a journey in which I only know where it begins, but it’s ending is unknown. Bit by bit, an artistic statement forms and I am surprised by the product every time.

 

For me, art is a language: a language of paint, of stains, of lines, of shape. It is individualistic and instinctual but also universal, spanning cultures, genders, religions, and speaks to every one of us.

 

In my work, I try to bring my inner world by using digital tools and hopefully, I am able to integrate the language of emotion and art itself. The fruits of these connections you will find in my work.
